I am the shop owner of A Burlap Boutique where I am continually passionate about the endless opportunities to create fun and unique household items and décor. A Burlap Boutique was created to house my ever growing need to share my designs with you! I have so enjoyed handcrafting each one of our items.

A Rise Above Custom Wedding Cake Stands

I have a fast 2 day turn around on finished stands, my stands have unlimited possibilities. They can be custom made at any size and height. The wedding stands are light weight for easy handling but sturdy enough to support the weight of any size cake.

A Rise Above has been in business since September 2012. When my daughter was getting married last year, we could not find a cake stand that suited our needs. Every thing was too blingy or too plan and looked cheap, but they were not cheap. So I made the stand for her cake , everyone loved it and said I should start making and selling them. So A Rise Above was born.

UPCYCLED WHIMSIES- up-cycled home decor, vintage, owls, frames and a little of anything old!

Upcycled Whimsises has been in business for 2 years. My mom had a antique booth for over 25+ years and she had to shut it down due to the economy a couple of years ago. She and I both love to craft and paint so we decided to start selling her vintage items and then we started to up cycle things that we found at local thrift stores, yard sales, good will etc… we try to think of new ways to use old or discarded items.
